Roy has been playing for several years now but started out as a Trombonist in the Scots Guards.
Roy was in the Guards for 12 years where he travelled extensively around the world playing at places such as Japan, France, America, Canada, Germany and the Persian Gulf.
Eventually he saw the light and took up the pipes.
